the picture below is all pavement drawing done by Julian Beever using chalk.
Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. He gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle.

This drawing of a Rescue was to be viewed using an inverting mirror.

Random words

today,we learned about uses of random words.
we have to solve the problem by relate the solution with the random word,
by the way,we cannot exactly use the random words to the solution.
In this exercise, mr radzi was trying to let us not to be a stereotype person.
we have to practice to come out a lots of creativity by this method.
This is the exercise that Mr Radzi had gave us.
Random words : kitten
Situation : to create ''scary images/objects''that will instill fear among people through the ages

Juxtaposition again

This is the exercise that we need to do,practice on analogy. An image is given,we have do a mind map relate the image and create a some phrase.this is the first mind map i do,it is about chili.we have to relate it to love concept.

Love is just like a chili which is red in colour, sometimes it made your tears keep falling because it is too spicy, sometimes it makes you feel high and excited because it is so hot..

This is the mind mapping of cat.
i have to relate it to happiness concept.
Happiness is just like a cat, it is so cute so that many people love it and want it to be with them; however, when it meets with others who treat it better,it will leave you, so please,do appreciate your happiness.

The picture beside here is mind map of ice-cream,i have to relate it to pain.

pain is just like an ice-cream,everyone will get it sometimes, especially the children, after they grown up, they will less get it because they already know the sweetness and it is not good for health.

it is about coffee, and the concept i have to relate it is life.
Life is just like a cup of tea, sometimes it is so bitter because of too much things to worry;however, it is also sweet because there is something or a person that makes u happy.

this is the mind map about mortal and pestle.
i have to relate it to man.
Man is just like a set of mortar and pestle,he is useful enough because he is strong, and he can protect his beloved.

Juxploration on analogy metaphor

*Analogy in Juxtaposition
1, making familiar
2. use in daily conversation to use something same to explain something complex

*Analogy divided in to METAPHOR and SIMILE
Metaphor- Is a figure of speech in which 2 different things are linked by some similarity.
Comparison that are obvious are not consider metaphors. Therefore, metaphors occur, when 2
different ideas are being connected in imaginative ways and agreed to be dissimilar at first.
- not using as / like
Example: Life is a box of chocolate, you will never know what you will get!
(The Movie: “Forest Gum”)

Similes - Using as / like
Example: Life is like cooking. It all depends on what you add and how you mix it. Sometimes you follow the recipe and at other times, you’re creative.
Life is like a maze in which you try to avoid the exit.
( example taken from: Roger von Oech’s A Whack on the Side of the Head )

( taken in lecturer notes)

There are two type of anologies
a. LOGICAL ANALOGIES -use similarities in design, structure or function to connect back to the subject

b. AFFECTIVE ANALOGIES -emotional resemblance-the use of an animal to explain a certain characteristic of a person-more frequently in conversation to emphrase certain points.

This week class i didnt attend because im sick, so i have asked my friends what to do and I am trying to do it.
there are two series of numbers.

Series A
1. flower
2. lightning
3. ice
4. light
5. fire
6. duck
7. dog
8. oil
9. leave
0. fly

Series B
0. head
9. rain
8. wood
7.tree
6.spider
5. root
4. mountain
3. wind
2. rock
1. water

Lecturer asked us to choose 3 different two digits numbers from 00 to 99.
then we had to combine the series A and series B digits(as shown above) to create a new phrase.
